The VRTI Key Partners Advisory Panel met on 24 Jan 2024 in the handsome surroundings of the Provost’s House, Trinity College Dublin. On the agenda were enhancements to the database and website, and the operation of the VRTI’s long-term sustainability plans.
In the meeting, the members of the VRTI Key Partners Advisory Panel congratulated PRONI on its centenary. The Roger Ellis Prize, awarded by the Archive & Records Association to the VRTI’s archival partnership, was formally handed over to David Huddleston, Acting Director of PRONI.
The Ellis Prize has so far spent time in both Dublin at the National Archives of Ireland and in London at The National Archives UK and will remain in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter for the remainder of the PRONI100 celebrations, which began last April.
